Jamiat Nanteza specializes in modeling the impacts of climate change; population growth and development on natural resources – specifically water resources. Her work entails the use of remote sensing products and hydrologic models in monitoring ground water and surface water resources and in designing early warning tools for hydro-climatic disasters. Her expertise and products guide communities and policy makers in making timely decisions and in improving their adaptive capacities to future disasters. Particular interests are the impacts of climate
change on hydrology, agriculture and gender.
