Faridah is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Geography, Geoinformatics and Climatic Sciences. Her research interest is mainly in the field of Gender and its relation to development challenges as applied to health, livelihoods, conflicts, disasters and development induced displacements. Faridah has interpersonal skills, she work with other people, in multicultural environments. Along the way, she has acquired skills of hard work, working under tight deadlines and team building. She also has skills of basic management, coordination and administration of people and projects at work. She is a self-motivated person, always ready to learn new skills and accept constructive criticism. She aims at producing the best of her abilities in everything she does. Faridah is currently PhD Student. She holds a Masters’ Degree in Development studies from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute in Uganda and a Bachelors Degree in Environment Management.
