David has fifteen years of teaching, research and other working experience in Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) including working with local government. Much of the work done is related to Environmental Systems Analysis and Management including habitat inventory, mapping and monitoring; Wildlife human interactions, and environmental action and strategic planning. He has been involved in a number of teaching and training projects and field trials including enhancing the awareness of local
governments in ENR. He has kin interest in curriculum development and administration. David has experience in assessing biophysical and social vulnerabilities of communities to the impacts of climate change and variability and designing adaptation responses especially in the wildlife and agricultural sectors. He has been involved in research and community outreach programmes in land use and natural resources assessment, strategic planning, mapping of natural resources, and setting up information systems for environmental/natural resource monitoring, evaluation and management using remote sensing and GIS tools.
